Xidian University, Xi`an
5/29 - I gave a talk in the morning to the
Software School on Invariant Maintenance. 
Afterwards, I had an
opportunity to walk a bit on the
campus, including its massive athletic complex. I was particularly
impressed by the shear number of outdoor table tennis tables,
complemented by basketball, volleyball, and badminton
courts. 
Although Xi`an was hot, the
tree-lined streets made the campus quite pleasant. 
I was also interested to note
that the daily newspaper was posted for everyone to read, alongside
campus announcements. 
I also had the opportunity to meet with the students and faculty in the
Software School.
