Georgia Tech Lorraine

After some hesitant wayfinding and a few stalls, we found our way to the auditorium at GTL to be greeted by French pastries and 200 or so jet lagged students.

After the student orientation, we drove to the nearby Cora superstore, where we managed to buy enough groceries to get us by the next few days.

In the afternoon, we returned to GTL, where the faculty received orientation from the helpful GTL staff, including showing us our offices and classrooms. I also spent a little time that afternoon making sure I understood enough about how the classroom technology worked so I could run my class on the next day.

We had dinner that night at the nearby Buffalo Grill, a western-themed hamburger restaurant, where we managed to make our menu selections known to a patient waitress.
