Hey all,

Sorry for the extremely late notice, but there was some miscommunication /
forgetfulness on my part. Monday, we'll be talking about
videoconferencing, esp. in the context of design and collaboration. As
most of you know, the College will be splitting into three locations come
end of Spring quarter (actually, we've already split into two locations).
Hopefully, these papers will give us a little insight into the usefulness
of having video walls in each of the three locations and guide us in how
to best use them.

The papers are:

"Experimental Uses of Video to Support Design Activities", Robert Shults,
Xerox PARC.

and

Chapter 2 from PERSONAL VIDEOCONFERENCING, by Evan Rosen 1996.

I've put 10 copies of each in the box outside Gregory's door. The second
paper is also available online at

www.browsebooks.com/Rosen/Chapter2.html

An interesting site for videoconferencing resources (for those interested)
is

www.videoconference.com
(205.180.229.9)

See you Monday.
