Problem
The Classroom 2000 project is concerned with the impact of ubiquitous
computing in education. The main idea of the project is to capture as
much of the interactive experience of a classroom lecture and provide
ways for students to access that record after class. The general
research area is called the capture, integration and access problem of
ubiquitous computing. Lots of information on the project, including
publications, can be found at the Classroom
2000 Home page.
There are a number of 7100 projects defined within the Classroom 2000 theme. Before beginning any project, interested students should contact Dr. Abowd. Students are welcome to create their own projects within the Classroom 2000, subject to Dr. Abowd's approval.
