International Study – Undergraduate Opportunities

Today, studying abroad is no longer an option, it’s a necessity. As we expand boundaries of knowledge and technology, international experience is crucial for you to remain competitive in the global job market.
Employers know that students who have successfully completed a study abroad program possess international business knowledge and often second-language skills. Other valuable transnational competencies include:
- cross-cultural communication skills
- analytical skills
- an understanding of and familiarity with local customs and cultural contexts
- flexibility
- resilience
- the ability to adapt to new circumstances and deal constructively with differences
Before graduating, every student at Georgia Tech is encouraged to participate in one (or more!) of the 40+ international experiences offered here. The College of Computing offers several computing-specific opportunities for undergraduates. For more details, review the Barcelona summer program and Georgia Tech Lorraine pages in this section.
