Requirements for Students Matriculating prior to Summer 2012
- Prerequisite: CS 1331
- Complete at least 18 semester hours of Computer Science coursework of which 12 semester hours must be at the 3000-level or higher
- Those courses at the 3000-level or higher must be selected from any existing required or elective Computer Science courses in any Thread. NOTE: CS 4001 and 4911 are not Thread courses and therefore do not count against this requirement.
- At least two of those courses must be in the same Thread to develop depth in an area
- No special problems or Internship coursework may be used
- All courses must be completed for a letter grade with a C or better
- Courses required by name and number in a student's major degree program may not be used in satisfying the CS minor requirement.
Requirements for Students Matriculating prior to Summer 2006
- Prerequisite: CS 1322
- You must complete at least 18 semester hours of Computer Science coursework of which 12 semester hours must be at the 3000 level or higher
- The courses at the 3000 level or higher must be selected from the approved CS Major specialization courses or be a required 3000-level course in the CS Major (e.g., CS3240 or CS3510)
- At least two of the specialization courses must be in the same area to develop breadth in that area
- No special problems or Internship coursework may be used
- All courses must be completed for a letter grade with a C or better
- Courses required by name and number in a student's major degree program may not be used in satisfying the CS minor requirement.
