Jason A. Day

Bio

I am a fifth-year Human-Centered Computing PhD student at Georgia Tech from Connersville, Indiana. My thesis proposal was approved in Spring 2007, and I am writing my dissertation now--aiming for an early 2008 defense. Before coming to grad school, I received my BA from DePauw University in Computer Science, and worked for two years at AOL and Sigma Micro as a QA / Usability Engineer.

Research

My thesis advisor is Dr. James Foley. I am developing and evaluating the use of web lectures to augment the classroom learning experience, primarily in undergraduate/graduate education. In a different vein, our group is developing a resource for educators and students called the Human-Centered Computing Educational Digital Library (HCC EDL).
