up for a Demo Day exhibit on C 2000?

How do people feel about doing a demo for next week's Demo Day? I think
we should do it because we have enough good things to show AND it's quite
possible that some key people will be there to see the work.

OK, the drawbacks. Nick, Chris and Gregory will not be here on Thursday
of next week, which means that the demo responsibility falls squarely on the
shoulders of Terry, Yusuf and Sue (Amy and Scott can join forces with us, but
I'm not assuming we can ask them to do that). Sue is pretty much going to be
occupied with Cyberguide, so that means the main person for this will have to
be Yusuf and Terry.

Yusuf, if you are game, then come talk to me and we can figure out what we
could do. My initial thoughts are that you would be seated by one of the PCs
in the GVU lab and you would have a Classroom 2000 Web page up showing the
table of information streams as I discussed in a recent message. You could
also have the MeetingBoard Software on the PC and pretend it is the Liveboard.
You can then have a Newton and the ThinkPad there to show the different
student devices we are considering and show the results of our recent
experiments. Integrating with the sound would be DYNAMITE to show, but that
depends on Scott and Amy providing us that service.

Let me know what you think.
Gregory

P.S. By the way, I had an interesting "experience" in class today with a
failed attempt to use a Web browser to show the GIF slides live.
