CHI short paper reviews

I received the reviews for the C 2000 submission to CHI. Curious.
In a lot of ways, the reviews are more positive than the reviews we
received on the Cyberguide submission which was accepted. One out
of the three reviewers really nailed us on the C 2000 paper, giving us
the lowest ratings on some key points. However, there was a reviewer of
reviewers who commented that the critical reviewer made some errors in
judgment and so overrode those scores. We ended up with a higher aggregate score on the C 2000 paper than the Cyberguide paper.
Moral. There is no point trying to guess on how reviewers will receive
a paper.
