set-up for GVU Demo Day.

I configured the Fujitsu pen computer to work in the GVU conference
room, so you can browse the Web from the same unit that you show
ClassPad. I left the Ethernet cable by the blue cabinet. Just
plug it into the top Ethernet port underneath the screen in
the GVU conference room. The VGA signal from the Fujitsu can be
sent directly to the converter box for the television in the
room, so we don't need a projector there. Randy Carpenter knows
how to set things up to work for that, but you should give him
some warning for the set-up (randy@cc) or let Don Allison (don@cc)
know.

That's the good news. The bad news is that there is no sound card
on the Fujitsu, so you can't play the RealAudio stuff on it. I
downloaded Netscape 3 and RealAudio Player 2 onto the machine before
class today, only to find out that there weren't sound capabilities (actually,
I was reminded of this lack of sound, as I did actually know that).
So you might still want to set up another machine to show the notes
with audio capabilities.

Have fun. You'll be in my thoughts on Thursday.

Gregory
