Yusuf Goolamabbas passed this note my way concerning Win95.

I tried to show a C 2000 demo in the Cities cluster tonight,
and MAN, was it ever slow. Unbearable! Don't know what the
problem was.

Subject: Download times with Win'95 DUN and impact on C2000

Hi Gregory, This might not be relevant to C2K.

There seems to be report of a Win95 bug in its Dial-Up networking by
which you don't get optimum transfer of approx 3.3KB/s over 28.8. you
generally get half of that. I am testing some workarounds on my home
machine including modifying some registry entries. Will keep you
informed of results

There might be quite a few c2k users who check c2k pages from home
over Win95. They might feel the system very sluggish because of the
above bug but may not realise it. However, the perceive c2k as being
slow

You may want to pass this to your development team

Cheers, Yusuf
