Someone (Reggie, Viren, Jason?) needs to look into this stuff.
We can install VisualWorks on the Liveboard to test it out.

Friday, the 13th : OCEAN Department releases DOLPHIN
O====================================================0

This message is to inform you that the department OCEAN at GMD-IPSI
(German National Rearch Center for Information Technology, Integrated
Publication and Information System Institute, Darmstadt) has released
the first publically available version of the DOLPHIN software.

About DOLPHIN
- -------------
The DOLPHIN software supports the preparation and management of team
meetings in different application scenarios: face-to-face meetings as
well as meetings with remote participants. Activities that have to be
supported in these scenarios include meeting management, brainstorming,
rating and organizing of ideas, discussion, decision making, and
presentation. Most of these activities are based on documents which
were prepared before the meeting (e.g., agenda, list of issues,
proposals, charts), presented and changed within the meeting, and
finally result in new documents (e.g., minutes, decisions, annotated
proposals). This material is quite often processed after the meeting
and will be the starting point for subsequent meetings. By combining
state-of-the-art concepts from the areas of hypermedia and
computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW) DOLPHIN provides
functionality for managing group meetings effectively.

DOLPHIN is based on a common hypermedia data model for individual and
public workspaces. This model supports the simple construction of
emerging structures, the representation of dependencies between
documents created in and between meetings, and the transition between
workspaces. This is why individually created documents can be made
public, i.e. presented on the electronic whiteboard as well as
discussed and annotated by the group.
An intuitive user interface supports the creation of both informal and
very formal document structures. Above all, for the work with the
electronic whiteboard and for any other kind of pen-based device,
DOLPHIN provides innovative interaction methods, complemented by a
powerful gesture recognition. DOLPHIN aims at providing support for
cooperative work in a setting with networked workstations, either
in a face-to-face or remote meeting situation, or a face-to-face
meeting including participants from remote locations.

System Requirements
- -------------------
VisualWorks 2.5 runtime on any supported platform.
