	description	It was an interdisciplinary course combining design + mechanical engineering + aerospace engineering. The purpose of the project was to make a working automation system using actuator and PLC program. We made an automatic joy ride that is 1/15 scale of an actual Merry-Go-Round.

About the "Love Ride in Merry-Go-Round"

It is an experimental automation system using air pressure & PLC program that controls air pressure actuators. To emphasize the aesthetics of the system, we used acryls in the main frame and horses of the Merry-Go-Round. Since Merry-Go-Round runs in 360 degrees, the biggest task of this project was to make a circular motion with linear actuators.

The whole system works in following order::
1) Gate Opens. People get into the ride.
2) Door closed the ride starts running.
3) At the same time music starts to play.
4) Ride runs for three times and stops automatically. Door opens to let people out.
