Project Description
The sony Aibos are advanced consumer-level robots
capable of visual analysis, sound detection, and wireless
data transmission. Further, with 20 movable body parts,
the dogs can create very emotive movements.
The project aims to determine the ranges of emotive expression capable
in the dogs, and to develop a library of positions and motions for the dogs
to utilize in future robot drama productions.
In this project, we used a wireless control system to lead the dogs through
various postures to see how much dramatic expression could be generated from
25 different motions. |
