Project Description
UNI (aka U and I) is a communication device with pets.
Dogs
have been the best friend of human. The biggest part to it
is that dogs can understand our language. However, it was considered
impossible for us to understand
their language.
In 2001, a product called 'bow-lingual' was released in Japan as a toy for children.
It detects vibration of dog's barking and translates it into human language based
on 7 categoris of:
joy, warning, desire, aggression, lonely, frustrated, and
chasing.
This project aims to redesign the technology into a more practical form than
a toy, allowing easier interaction between human and dogs.
