Project Description

Etiquette Messenger (EM) investigates how sensed information in homes can be integrated
into a social protocol for enhanced communication between households.
It explores following challenges of designing domestic services:

1) The main user group (homemakers) who are reluctant to adapt new technology.
2) Constructing information that is personal, yet very private within a household.

Therefore, in designing an interface of EM, it is critical to understand what kinds of
household information people are willing to share and with whom they would share.
