This page is outdated. I now maintain my homepage at Cambridge University.
I am a PhD student at the College of Computing of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. I just finished my Master of Science in Computer Science. My research area in general is Systems and more specific in this area, High Performance Computing. I finally got submitted my Master Thesis about "Creating Dynamic Application Behavior for Distributed Performance Analysis". My advisor is Professor Karsten Schwan.
In the summer of 1997 I worked for SAIC's Simulation Technology Division in Arlington, VA. I certainly had a lot of fun in the DC area and enjoyed working on some really cool projects. You also can take a look at the results I have gathered on the IHPCL clusters, see the section on applications.
In summer 1998 I worked for Microsoft
as a Software Design Engineer. I ditched their Job offer in favor of an
internship, because I want to do a PhD.
