I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow with the Institute for Personal Robots in Education (IPRE) developing curriculum, test teaching, and evaluating the personal robots method of teaching computer science.

My thesis research involved projection technology and interfaces for large scale interactive surfaces. I developed Virtual Rear Projection (and the PROCAMS toolkit) which allows front projectors to provide a near rear-projection experience for wall scale interactive surfaces such as The BigBoard.

Other projects:

• Summer 2005 - Internship at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories working on 500Hz Optical Tracking (siggraph paper).
• Summer 2004 - Internship at Intel Research Pittsburgh on the BurningWell project.
• Detecting cameras and actively neutralizing them, producing a Capture Resistant Environment.
• Using lasers and cameras for infrastructure free indoor positioning.
