Yong
Zhu receieved the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute
of Technology in 2006. His advisor is Dr.
Mostafa Ammar. Yong Zhu received his M.S. degree in Computer
Science from Georgia Institute of
Technology in 2004, M.Eng. degree from the Institute
of Automation, Chinese Academy
of Sciences in 2000 and B.S. degree from the
University of Science and Technology
of China (USTC) in 1997.
Yong's research interests include computer network
architectures, protocols and services including overlay networks,
network virtualization, end-to-end optical networks, and performance evaluation. He is
also interested in biometrics and its applications.
