In the Spring of 1997, the Graduate Student Committee sponsored a
survey of all grad students (at the request of the Deans Advisory
Council), to find out the general morale of the grad students
in general. The results of that survey are published here. First

The responses are segregated between MS students and PhD students,
and are segregated between numeric responses (questions that asked
for a rating generally between 1 and 5), and free field comments
