Center Finds New Uses for Video Gaming ChipResearchers at the College's Sony-Toshiba-IBM Center of Competence have developed seven new pilot projects using the Cell processor, the heart of the Sony PlayStation 3 game console, including a kind of early warning system to alert pilots to potentially catastrophic problems with the aircraft.
