Hawaii Travel Shots
We visited Hawaii in the Summer of 1996. It was simply fantastic. We
spent 3 days on Maui and 4 days on Kauai. The beauty of the islands
is difficult to comprehend unless you see them firsthand. I also
enjoyed the casual atmosphere and friendliness of all the local
residents. Maui is a little more built up. We stayed in the
Kaanapali area and visited Kapalua and Lahaina. We really enjoyed the
Sugar Cane train and the Maui tropical plantation tour. Kauai is more
exotic with incredible terrain and sights. We stayed in the Lihue
area and toured Waimea Canyon and the Napali Coast. We also took a
helicopter tour there. It was expensive but is well worth it to see
the island that way one time.
