Joan Morton

Joan Morton is the Administrative Officer of the
GVU Center. Her main function is to assist
the GVU Center Director, Associate Director and Faculty in the
operation and utilization of Center facilities and resources. In
this capacity, Joan manages the Center's finances, assists in
planning Center activities, maintains communications with
Center faculty members in other departments, prepares
reports, supervises administrative staff, and provides assistance
to 21 GVU College of Computing faculty in the preparation of
proposals and in personnel matters.
Outside of work, I am an avid reader, an amateur photographer (I
especially enjoy taking pictures of children and flowers), and am
active in my church (I play organ, sing in the choir, am a member
of the Committee that oversee all Youth activities, a member of the
Ladies' Guild (now called Mission Lights) and participate
in fellowship activities
on a regular basis).
