Animation in User Interfaces

This project is examining how to integrate animation into user interface toolkits and user interface development environments. This work is joint with Professor Scott Hudson and Professor John Stasko. Our focus is on providing abstractions for specifying real-time animation actions in user interfaces.

Pictured above is a flying GVU logo that takes exactly 3 seconds to move across a window, provides motion blur, and performs slow-in/slow-out animation along a curved path.
