Augmented Reality Developer

ArchieMD seeks an ambitious AR Software Developer to develop immersive simulations for training medical
providers. These highly interactive programs include realistic human anatomy blended with medical simulation
manikins. Successful candidates will be creative while developing robust, scalable code. Candidates must
have a solid computer science background that enables application of theoretical concepts to new technologies,
specifically in the realm of AR. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on creative applications that
challenge the state-of-the-art.

Relocation to Boca Raton area of Florida required; we aid in relocation expense reimbursement.

Position Requirements:
• 2-4 years using C++; A peer/supervisor would consider you strong or expert in C++ dev.
• 1-2 years hands-on experience building 3D graphics applications a plus
• 1+ years building augmented reality applications
• Experience with optical/marker-based tracking technologies, e.g. ARToolkit, infrared tracking
• Experience with vision-based tracking is a bonus.
• Hardware "hacking" skills are a bonus.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2005 or later is preferred; development will be done on Windows platform
• BS/MS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with BS, research, work, or internship experience
is preferred.
• Solid understanding of computer graphics concepts, esp. linear algebra, 3D transforms, and rendering
• Solid understanding and experience with object-oriented programming and associated design patterns
• 2+ years of OpenGL or DirectX development
• Self-motivated, able to budget time on large, multi-faceted tasks
• Experience using one or more of the following: Ogre3D, Torque3D, Unity3D, or other source-modifiable
game or graphics engine a plus
