PROGRAM SUMMARY
 
• A two-year entry-level program providing four or more technical rotational assignments
• Assignments are engineering projects driven by GE business priorities
• Diverse experiences may include: systems, analysis, design, quality, reliability, integration, and test
• Technical problem-solving skills developed via advanced engineering coursework, formal reports, and presentations to senior leadership
• Professional development through corporate leadership courses
• Opportunity to earn credit toward an advanced degree in engineering

EEDP EXPERIENCES
 
• Continuous integration and configuration for Smart Grid software
• Developing software for remote monitoring of energy equipment
• Java programming to implement new tools used by our GE Energy product lines.
• Quality assurance test engineering
• Developing embedded software and firmware to integrate Smart Grid components
• Locations: Atlanta, GA; Melbourne, FL; Minden, NV; Norfolk, VA; Salem, VA; San Ramon, CA

 

CANDIDATE CRITERIA

• BS or MS in computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering

• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale overall

• Prior internship, co-op, or research experience desired

• Commitment to a career in technology

• Analytical approach to problem solving

• Unyielding integrity

• Ability to lead and work in teams

• Experience writing technical reports

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Must be willing to relocate
