Axion BioSystems is an ATDC-based life sciences instrumentation company located on Georgia Tech’s campus. We are presently looking for an additional contributor for the life sciences software development team. The position entails working with a small group of developers to create the next generation of tools for electrophysiology research.
Job requirements include:
- Good communication skills
- Extensive object oriented software design experience
- Experience working in medium-to-large software projects
- While not required, experience following with biological and scientific exploration and validation practices is desirable.
Areas of technical contribution include, but are not limited to:
- DSP algorithm characterization / development
- Unit test development
- User interface implementation
- User file management systems development
Useful areas of expertise for this position include :
- Real-Time DSP
- Mathematical models
- User interaction design
- Low-level performance optimization / parallelization
- Machine Learning
- Digital and/or Analog circuit design.
Presently we use the following languages in our projects:
- C# (3.5 and 4.0)
- C++ (GCC and MS C++/CLI)
- m68K assembly
- Matlab
We may be adding the following languages to our repertoire in the future:
- Ruby
- F#
