Entry-Level to Jr. Mobile Application Developer
Skills: Bachelor's Degree, Mobile App Developer, Objective-C, iOS, Android, Java, Junior OOP developer
What a GREAT opportunity for someone with not a lot of experience! Our client is seeking a Junior Object-Oriented Developer with the aptitude and desire to do mobile application development. The Jr. Mobile Application Developer will code and implement mobile applications for Apple and Android. Your experience must include hands-on experience in Objective-C through professional experience, internships or class projects. Experience with mobile development or PhoneGap is a plus! Our client is looking for someone that will primarily be developing apps but also is able to manage the development process with outside contractors. Some maintenance will be needed, consisting of modifications and changes. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a stable job history, and thrives on taking initiative. Create technical specifications for mobile applications.
Code applications for the iOS and Android platforms.
Coordinate the development of applications with outside vendors when the development is outsourced.
Develop Rest based APIs using Java.
Test mobile applications and document testing results.
Bachelor's Degree is required (Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering preferred)
Experience with developing applications on both iOS and Android platforms is highly desired, but not required.
Experience with Objective-C
Experience with development of Java web applications is highly desired, but not required.
Knowledge of object oriented development practices.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
New graduates from Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics programs are welcome to apply, as long as you have hands-on experience with Objective-C or other mobile technologies (professionally or through class projects/internships) and can work full time (40 hours per week).
