Qualifications: .NET Developer
A .NET development position working closely with a team of developers and other key staff to develop and expand new and existing business systems; will be heavily involved in the development of applications utilizing database, web-based end-user client apps, web-services and system interfaces. Candidates should have:
• Software Development Experience: Windows and Internet software development using Microsoft .NET framework (C#.NET, VB.Net, ASP.NET), Cold Fusion, and some Java.
• Software Engineering: Familiar with OOP and software development lifecycles.
• Database Expertise: Experience in database development using SQL.
• Source Code and Project Management: Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Servers a plus.
Duties Include:
Collaborate with technical team members and functional architects to design and implement customized corporate end-user applications for the company.
• Responsible for designing, integration and developing web-based applications and related backend systems.
• Participate in both the re-engineering of existing systems, as well as the design and implementation of new features and interfaces.
• Evaluate user requests and clarify objectives and functional requirements by consulting with Information Systems representatives and Business Management.
• Prepare and review requirements and design documents.
• Provide estimates on assigned tasks.
Skills / Attributes Required
• 4+ years experience as a developer.
• 2+ years experience with ASP.NET/C#/VB.NET.
• 2+ years working with SQL Server (2008 preferred).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2010, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ASMX and WCF Web Services, and ADO.NET.
• Ability to design and write SQL Server 2008 stored procedures.
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
• Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
• Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices.
• 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Status in USA
