Qualifications:
The Network Lead - Infrastructure Planning and Support is responsible for leading and managing a team of network support specialists responsible for planning, design, analysis, deployment, and support of new and existing wired and wireless network infrastructure for the Chrysler Headquarters and Technology Center complex. This team is responsible for implementing, trouble-shooting and supporting network solutions that sustain the data, voice, and video traffic for tenants of the CTC Complex. The successful candidate will oversee a team of network technicians in support of the CTC complex networks, and interact with various planning teams in coordination of network designs and deployments. In addition, the individual in this role will be required to identify areas of improvement in current processes and procedures within the organization and develop new strategies to improve efficiency within and across all teams. This role requires the ability to be on call for 24/7 support as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 years of network experience in large scale enterprise environments supporting Cisco and Avaya based networks
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with NetScout and HP products/tool set
  • Experience with Wireless LAN
  • Good organization, communication, and process improvement skills
  • Ability to be on call for 24/7 support as necessary
  • Must be able to identify risks and establish priorities in a high energy environment
