Summary:
We are currently looking for a PHP Developer in the Atlanta, GA area who has recently worked in a LAMP environment and has strong OOP and MySQL skills
Requirements:
Experience working closely with clients and a desire to drive new business by leveraging new and existing relationships.
- Very strong backend development skills with PHP and MySQL
- 4+ years of web development experience in LAMP architecture (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience in database design and SQL queries including complex joins and normalization/de-normalization
- Experience working in the Insurance industry is a plus
- Knowledge of Java, Ruby, JavaScript, AJAX and Bash is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated success working in a team-based environment
- Excellent speaking and communication skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Building applications in a LAMP environment
- Creating OOP code that is clean and scalable
- Deploying applications to process servers
- Writing and debugging SQL queries
