The Production Environment Service Manager (PESM) is responsible for driving stability improvements, enhancing the incident restoration process, understanding and resolving problems across the environment and managing change to reduce risk. The PESM is the technical Subject Matter Expert for the infrastructure and application, and stabilization of critical environments. The PESM is responsible for on-call incident management, ownership, and coordination of restoration activities, including communication and escalation during and after the restoration activities. The PESM will maintain documentation needed for service restoration activities for key production environments. Drive improvements to proactive monitoring, dashboards, and activities to prevent high priority incidents (P1). Lead/coordinate problem remediation activities to ensure long term resolution, including applying corrective actions across the landscape. Participate in the Change Advisory Board. Understand planned changes; improve testing and verification procedures to reduce risk to the environment. The PESM will be on call for 24/7 support as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in web technologies, networking, and database with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or eBusiness environment
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mainframe technologies and landscapes including Solaris, AIX and/ or Windows operating systems and EMC storage technologies
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with ITIL incident, problem and change management processes and tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Technology degree
  • Experience leading and facilitating critical bridge calls with a large number of participates, including management and vendors
  • Experience reporting incident status to all levels of leadership, including executive level
  • Ability to identify risks and establish priorities in a high energy environment
  • Ability to lead technical triage discussions through restoration and problem resolution
  • Possess strong leadership, facilitation, critical thinking and creative problem solving, negotiation/persuasion, vendor management, communication and organizational skills
  • Experience operating in a managed services and/or multi-sourced environment
  • Experience utilizing monitoring tools to manage application and infrastructure environments
  • Ideally knowledgeable of Chrysler process and resources, including vendors
