Qualifications:

Showtime Network Inc., a subsidiary of CBS Corporation, is seeking a QA
Analyst to assist in maintaining and improving the quality of Showtime
Anytime, Showtime’s “TV Everywhere” service. The QA Analyst will ensure
the validity of metrics gathered about the service and will perform tests
on Showtime Anytime products and services to verify that all applications
are performing as designed and are maximizing the customer experience.

In this position, located in Showtime’s NYC headquarters, you will have
the responsibility of testing across multiple platforms to review/validate
systems that have been integrated to track user behavior and interactions
on the service.   Additionally, you will assess positive and negative
functionality, compatibility, data integrity, and perform regression
testing.   Working within an Agile development environment, the QA Analyst
will collaborate with the Product Team to verify the integrity of the
business intelligence data. Collaboration will also extend to addressing
technical issues reported by customer service that adversely affect the
customer experience.

An ideal candidate will possess 2+ years directly testing and/or
supporting web and/or mobile applications; will be extremely
detail-oriented and possess the ability to think outside of the box, be
able to devise creative techniques for testing and have the ability to
mine large data sets using SQL, advanced Excel or equivalent.   Experience
with Jira and Agile development methodologies is a significant plus.


Responsibilities


    Obtain a detailed understanding of the behavior of (and issues
affecting) Showtime Anytime across all platforms.

    Perform tests of new features and functionality of Showtime Anytime.

    Validate changes to data in testing new features or functionality,
particularly data related to users’ behavior and usage patterns on
Showtime Anytime.

    Display ability to prioritize and resolve issues interfering with the
Customer Experience.

    Write test cases and use tracking tools to file, monitor and resolve
issues.

    Communicate clearly and frequently with all team members, stakeholders
and project/product owners impacted by test and troubleshooting
results.

•    2+ years testing and/or supporting web/ mobile applications on
iPad/iPhone/Android
•    Passion for mobile technologies & applications and TV Everywhere
•    Committed to following issues through to complete resolution
•    Experience addressing issues of data integrity and ability to mine
data w/SQL
•    Working knowledge of browsers and browser plug-ins, especially Flash
•    Strong documentation and communication skills
•    Experience with Omniture Site Catalyst and/or Business Objects a plus
•    Experience with Jira and Agile development methodologies a plus
•    Experience with automated testing tolls a plus
Minimum Education Level Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
