Skimmerhat is a non-partisan crowdsourcing platform dedicated to funding candidates based upon ideology rather than party. As voters leave traditional parties in record numbers in what is a decades-long trend of independence, skimmerhat erases the lines that once defined elections, allowing the People to promote the ideas that are important to them and the candidates that resonate within skimmerhat.
As an early stage start-up , we are currently looking for a talented developer – knowledgeable in PHP, jQuery, RubyonRails or in Joomla/Drupal – who has an entrepreneurial spirit. Even more, we are searching for a developer who is passionate about politics and influencing change in the current political structure.
