The Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Reporting and Documentation Specialist provides direct support to the Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO), the CQI Program Manager/Analyst and the CQI Compliance Coordinator.  This position is focused on all aspects of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.  They will work closely with the Database Administrator in the Information Services Department.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Development of report documentation and consistent practices across reporting
  • Development of quality improvement reports for monitoring of required EHR activities and documents
  • Development of quality improvement reports for monitoring of service counts by program
  • Development of quality improvement reports for monitoring of completed fields
  • Development of grant reports
  • Development of program summary (outputs and outcomes) reports for multiple levels of the agency


Skills Required:


  • 2-5 years experience in a software database development with substantial SQL content.
  • Strong SQL programming knowledge.
  • Knowledge of a major Relational Database Management System and Database Design (Oracle, MySQL, SAP).
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Reporting Software Tools(Oracle, Teradata, IBM).
  • Knowledge of technical writing and documentation.



  • BS in computer science or information systems; MS preferred
