The Technology Program Management team at salesforce.com is a mission critical leader in delivering strategic, complex, cross-functional initiatives that are essential to our evolution, growth and market-leader position. The Technology team manages technology infrastructure, and systems and software development programs; and is comprised of strong leaders who thrive in a fast-paced, bottoms-up environment. In this key role, you will lead programs that require you to be highly collaborative, to develop stellar cross functional relationships, and to demonstrate strong technical skills and business acumen in order to successfully deliver in an agile environment.
Manage up to two smaller Technology programs simultaneously and be able to context switch between them
Assist the Technology program team on the forming and execution of multiple initiatives
Manage the day to day and tactical execution of programs autonomously
Enrolled in junior year or higher at a college/university or any year at a graduate school
Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration (focus in systems/technology)
Ability to quickly learn new technologies
General understanding of technologies, specifically web technologies, Relational Databases and Java.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation
Be a self-starter and possess strong sense of self-motivation
Strong verbal and written communication skills for both internal communication and customer focused communication.
Organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to collaboration
Ability to work under tight deadlines while being flexible and responding to changing business and technical conditions
Ability to successfully collaborate with multiple technical functions in the areas of infrastructure, technical operations, software engineering and customer support.
Coursework in SQL and relational database concepts
Experience on outreach to large audiences and customers
Experience leading cross-functional teams contributing to common goals
