Qualifications:

As a Technical Consulting Intern for Ultimate Software you will be responsible for analysis and development of SQL-based data integrations.  Data integrations are an integral part of client delivery and as an intern you will gain experience delivering these technical projects for complex organizations.  The day-to-day duties will include analyzing existing SQL code as well as redeveloping and testing the data integration in Ultimate’s next generation tool built using Informatica.  Additional duties may involve client and vendor data transmission setup. 

 

During the internship you will be working closely with our Technical Analysts and Consultants as mentors in our Atlanta office.  The intern program will be a pipeline to permanent position opportunities in a variety of different roles within our Enterprise Services organization.

·        Analyze custom SQL code and translate the existing requirements and code into Informatica

·        Work with our clients to ensure seamless transition from a customer’s existing integration into the appropriate Ultimate Software  solution

  • Utilize internal tools and documentation to promote efficiency and standardization
  • Provide input on methodology and process improvements

Manage multiple concurrent projects

  • Information Systems or Computer Science course background with a focus in database structure or architecture
  • Customer-focused, positive and professional attitude
  • Organized, detail oriented, accurate and responsive
  • Self-motivated, quick learner
  • Team player: collaborative, seeks input, accepts and incorporates feedback from others, and freely offers assistance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analysis, change control, task management and time management skills

HR course background a plus
