Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join the Cardlytic’s team! The ideal candidate will have 5 years’ professional experience in a project management and/or consulting role. The Technical Project Manager will develop and execute functional test cases for Cardlytics’ proprietary targeted offer advertising platforms.

Skills and Requirements

  • Manage projects through initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing (IPECC)
  • Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple large scale projects
  • Review high-level deliverables across projects
  • Coordinate resource management with Development Directors
  • Initiate and lead project planning activities such as Scope Definition and Management (WBS, Project Change Control and SOW)
  • Develop and manage internal and external project expectations while ensuring all applicable functional areas of the organization are engaged in the project
  • Create and maintain a project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring: overall project timeline, project milestones, tasks, resources, ETAs, task dependencies, and critical paths
  • Coordinate with other project managers and team members to identify and monitor issues, risks, impacts and dependencies
  • Coordinate meetings, as needed, to initiate working sessions, resolve project issues, etc.
  • Provide status to internal stakeholders and clients on the progress of projects
  • Display strong understanding of the organization's business strategies and apply knowledge to all project activities
  • Build relationships with all functional areas and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Coordinate production support activities and sometimes participate in troubleshooting implementation issues
  • Travel - 25%
  • Able to facilitate meetings, work effectively with cross functional groups and lead problem solving process
  • Proactively engage with team members while managing defects, risks and issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Experience leading SQL Server based development projects
  • Financial services, advertising or software consulting experience
  • Experience with Kanban, Scrum and other Agile methodologies
  • Experience using agile project management tools (i.e. – Rally, JIRA, VersionOne, TargetProcess, etc…)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Organization and time management skills: Operates independently with minimal guidance by management.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in project management processes and methodologies
  • Strong understanding of the software development project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, implementation and support
  • Ability to write and execute simple SQL queries
  • Experience managing multiple projects and project teams
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, IIS and .NET a plus
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a project management and/or consulting role
  • 1-3 years of project management experience with software development
  • BS/BA Degree highly preferred
