I'm recently retired as SR GLobal Marketing Strategist from 40 years of fulltime work with global companies like GE and Amoco in the US, BP in the UK, Hoechst in Germany and Solvay in Belgium.
While working for these companies they supplied and supported MS basedhardware and software which becam cumbersome at best. So I migrated to Apple within last when I retired.
I am in the process of starting my own consulting business and find that many people and companies I communicate with vis computer are still MS based but encounter compatiblitiy problems with/from my APlle software and hardware.
I ould use some help diagnosing and "fixing" these problems when they occur. Usually these problems althought important to fix are not uregent. That is I can can be flexible and work around a student's schedule.
The benefit to the student is, of course a competeitive hourly pay plus expenses as well as some insight into business development, competitive analysis, businees profit improvement among other activies I've been repsonbile for for many years.
The benefit to me is that I can focus on starting my consulting business rather than trying to figure out how to "fix" computer problems I periodically encounter. This is not a full time job for sure. It's part time on as needed basis for some hours every month.
I live & work from my home in B'head within walking distance of Phipps and Lenox malls so, there is another benefit to student is he/she is a shopper!
