Qualifications:

Lancope is looking for web User Interface Developers to build the next generation of Lancope’s network security monitoring applications.  You will work closely with our UI/UX designers to bring to life the front-end designs by using the latest technologies. Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and JQuery combined with an eye for simplicity and user experience is required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development and UX team members to turn user stories, wireframes and/or pixel mockups into high-quality, modern application interfaces using JavaScript, CSS2, HTML5 and JQuery.
  • Develop and maintain extensible cross-browser/cross-device front end code.
  • Help establish UI best-practices, patterns, and development frameworks.
  • Contribute to idea development, software estimation, and task breakdown. 
  • Stay current on web standards, best practices, pitfalls of developing for cross-browser compatibility and scalable, responsive web-design 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of demonstrated expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and JQuery is required. 
  • Experience building highly scalable, flexible cross-platform/device UI applications.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks like YUI, ExtJS, Protoype, jQuery Mobile, Backbone.js, AngularJS, MarionetteJS.
  • Developing interfaces for data visualization and analytics is a plus.
