The Senior Web Developer works as a member of the Online Gaming R&D staff to develop gaming software and tools of the highest caliber in accordance with the capabilities of the platform and the requirements of the product. The position will focus primarily on the implementation of web-based layouts and software components and will require collaborating with other senior Online Gaming R&D engineers and associated creative staff on software architecture, design, and implementation.


Essential Job Functions

·         Designs and implements web-based software architecture components

·         Collaborates with creative staff to produce visually appealing designs and user interfaces

·         Designs and implements highly usable and cross-browser compatible interfaces according to industry best practices and product specifications

·         Efficiently structures and optimizes layouts for web-based environments

·         Delivers complete, thorough, and robust solutions and proactively suggests improvements to process, design, and functionality

·         Develops secure technologies with particular consideration to transaction integrity, customer data security, and regulatory compliance

·         Provides creative ideas for product design and intellectual property creation

·         Remains current on competitive products and solutions through independent research

·         Executes peer reviews, providing positive and constructive input and suggestions

·         Writes well-documented and re-usable code modules


Desired Skills & Experience

·         5 years experience implementing web-based layouts for consumer-facing web sites using HTML and CSS required

·         Experience creating and/or manipulating designs using Adobe Photoshop or equivalent tools required

·         Experience implementing user interfaces using interactive technologies (JavaScript, AJAX, Flash, Silverlight, etc) required

·         Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS layout required

·         Extensive knowledge and experience creating and integrating designs in the Microsoft .NET 3.5 (or above) Framework preferred

·         Knowledge of Flash or Flex and ActionScript 3.0 or above preferred
