Architectural Visual Editor (VisEd)
Purpose:

To provide an environment for visually displaying and laying out ACME architectural
descriptions.

To provide a visual method for creating and editing an architectural representation.

To provide a general purpose environment for displaying and editing MORALE
data.
Description:
The screen below shows a visual display of an ACME representation.
Components are shown as rectangles and connectors as labelled lines.
A component shaded yellow indicates a component with an underlying representation
(a decomposed descripiton). These components can either be expanded
in place or expanded in a new view.
The screen below demonstrates the ability to layout and display representations
other than basic architectures. This view is of a SCENIC goal hierarchy
with obstacles and actors annotated on the diagram.
Status:
Version 1.0 is available for download in binary versions
Operating System Dependencies:
Graphlet runs on UNIX,
LINUX, and Win95/NT. Development is currently focusing on Solaris
and Windows.
Platform Dependencies:
Graphlet requires TCL/TK 8.0p2 or later.
COTS Dependencies:

Graphlet 5.x
available from the University of Passau as a binary distribution for both
UNIX and Windows 95/NT. Through kind permission of University of
Passau, Graphlet 5.0.0 is included in the vised release.
