Georgia Tech Provost Jean-Lou Chameau has named Dr. Ellen Zegura, assistant dean of facilities planning and associate professor of computing, to the position of interim dean of the College of Computing, effective May 6.

The Board of Regents (BOR) of the University System of Georgia has approved a new Master of Science degree program in Information Security (InfoSec) that will be housed in the College of Computing at Georgia Tech starting in the Fall.

The College of Computing Continuing Education Program will offer a new continuing education certificate program titled "Managing Information Security" on March 1st at the Georgia Tech Computer Training Facility at Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta.
