(March 19, 2006) - A paper published for class by students at the College of Computing at Georgia Tech titled "Digging for Diggers: Analysis of a Social Media Website" analyzes the user community of Digg.com, a news bookmarking site which allows users to choose the links that are displayed. Student authors, Reynald Benoit, Travis Little and Scott Sherrill, wrote the paper for Dr. Amy Bruckman's Design of Online Communities class. Their paper uses interviews with top users of Digg.com to examine the benefits and problems associated with the online user community.
