To replace the IE default icon for the link button with a WebCQ
icon (optional), follow these steps:
- Right click on the following WebCQ monitor button image below. Select
"Save Target As ..." and save the icon as webcqmb.ico on your computer.
Be sure the file extension is ".ico".
- Right click on the "WebCQ page monitor for IE" button you just added to the
Links toolbar and select "Properties".
- From the "Properties" dialog box select "Web Document" tab and click
"Change Icon".
- Find and select the icon image file (webcqmb.ico) that you just saved to
your hard-drive (by clicking "Browse" to locate the file on your
computer).
- Click "OK", then click "Apply" and "OK" to replace the IE default icon.
(If a dialog box says "The protocol 'javascript' does not have a registered
program" and asks "Do you want to keep this target anyway?" choose Yes.)
- Done. The resulting Internet Explorer will be something like the
following (changed button is highlighted by a yellow circle):
