Schwan Wins HP Labs Innovation Research Award

Computer science Professor Karsten Schwan has won an HP Labs Innovation Research Award, which fund strategic joint research projects between academic research institutions worldwide and HP Labs. Multithreaded Supercomputer Seeks Software For Data-Intensive Computing

RICHLAND, Wash. (July 14, 2008) -- Georgia Tech is part of a multi-institutional collaboration that received $4 million from the U.S. Department of Defense to develop software for the newest generation of supercomputers. This was announced today by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
