Practice

Slices

1. Select the Contour and GenerateColormap modules.
2. Select Destroy from the Edit menu of the Map Editor.
3. Drag and drop both an OrthoSlice and a LatToGeom module into the Map Editor.
4. Connect:
   • ReadLat to OrthoSlice
   • OrthoSlice to LatToGeom
   • LatToGeom to Render
5. You may have to adjust the orientation of the slice to see it. (Grab and tilt.)
6. Maximize the control panels and modify the input parameters to see how things change.

Isosurfaces

1. Select the OrthoSlice and LatToGeom modules.
2. Select Destroy from the Edit menu of the Map Editor.
3. Drag and drop a IsosurfaceLat module into the Map Editor.
4. Connect:
   • ReadLat to IsosurfaceLat
   • IsosurfaceLat to Render
5. Maximize the control panels and modify the input parameters to see how things change.
