President's Fellowships
President's Fellowships are guaranteed for new doctoral
applicants who are successful in winning NSF Fellowships or who receive
"Honorable Mention" in the NSF Fellowship competition. (Those who
receive Honorable Mention and the President's Fellowship should then
apply for an NSF Fellowship again during their first year of
graduate study.)
If you are a continuing doctoral student and you are awarded a
competitive and prestigious national fellowship, you may also be
eligible for a President's Fellowship. Please contact the Ph.D.
program coordinator.
DOE High-Performance Computer Science Fellowship Program
DOE High-Performance Computer Science Fellowships assist highly qualified
students in pursuit of a Ph.D. in computer science specializing in
high-performance computing. This fellowship offers a $24,000 yearly stipend
and payment of all tuition and fees. Fellows also have the opportunity to
work with researchers at Los Alamos National Lab or Lawrence Livermore
National Lab during a summer practicum. This fellowship is open to US
citizens who are senior undergraduates or in their first or second year of
graduate study at a U.S. university. Applicants must be pursuing or
planning to pursue a Ph.D. in computer science with an emphasis on
high-performance computing.
