Biography

Marcus Johnson has been with the College of Computing’s Human Resources department since February 2004. His responsibilities include faculty recruiting, hiring, reappointments, promotions, and tenure, as well as H1B and J1 visas, leaves of absence, PSFs, and pay actions.

Marcus began his career at Georgia Tech in 1997 after seven years active service with the U.S. Army as a senior administrative secretary. He has served Tech’s College of Engineering, Ivan Allen College, and College of Computing, holding supervisory, budgetary, and human resource positions.

Director of Human Resources

Biography

Pam Ruffin has been with the College of Computing (CoC) for several years and currently serves as the Director of Human Resources and Administration. She is responsible for employee relations which includes overseeing the entire annual staff appraisal process and all human resource aspects of the College and its divisions. Most recently, Pam assisted the College of Computing in receiving a Certificate of Excellence from the 2005-2006 Georgia Tech Best Practices Challenge.
