Director TSO: Research and Instruction

Biography

Randy is the Lead for the Research ProgramSupport Group in the Technology Services Organization (TSO), a group that isresponsible for supporting the cutting-edge technologies in research centersand labs of the College of Computing.  The group focuses on high-performance computing, research data centers, lab computing, web programming, group collaboration technologies, research event support, and more.  Randy has a Master's in Computer Science and a Bachelor's in Mathmatics from Georgia State University.

Director of Human Resources

Biography

Pam Ruffin has been with the College of Computing (CoC) for several years and currently serves as the Director of Human Resources and Administration. She is responsible for employee relations which includes overseeing the entire annual staff appraisal process and all human resource aspects of the College and its divisions. Most recently, Pam assisted the College of Computing in receiving a Certificate of Excellence from the 2005-2006 Georgia Tech Best Practices Challenge.

Director of Financial Administration

Biography

Carla Bennett is director of business operations at the College of Computing (CoC) and has been at Georgia Tech for over five years. She is responsible for the day-to-day business and financial aspects of the College and supervises an annual combined budget of $45M. CoC funding sources include: government and industry sponsored research; grant, gift, and foundation funding; as well as state instructional and administration funds.
